DescriptionThis peptide is amino acids 8 to 21 fragment of the myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG). It induces relapsing experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) in mice associated with broadening of the autoimmune repertoire. Subtle changes in MOG (8-21) dramatically influences disease susceptibility and T-cell responses in vitro.
