Biological activities

AZ3146 is a potent and selective Mps1 inhibitor. AZ3146 also inhibits FAK, JNK1, JNK2 and Kit. AZ3146 inhibits human Mps1Cat with an IC50 of ∼35 nM. In vitro, AZ3146 efficiently inhibits autophosphorylation of full-length Mps1 immunoprecipitated from human cells and inhibits phosphorylation of Mps1 in cells. Meanwhile, in HeLa cells, treatmeant with 2 μM AZ3146 delays mitosis briefly and rereplicates their genomes.^[1]

In vitro, AZ3146 is dissolved in DMSO.^[1]
