Biological activities

Desoximetasone is a synthetic topical corticosteroid, which belongs to a class of primarily synthetic steroid used as anti-inflammatory and anti-pruritic agents. Desoximetasone works by activating natural substances in the skin to reduce swelling, redness, and itching. Desoximetasone has potent topical activity as effective as betamethasone valerate and more effective than triamcinolone acetonide.[1]
