Biological activities

FLLL32 is a novel and small molecule inhibitor of the STAT3 pathway. FLLL32 inhibits phosphorylation of STAT3 at the Tyr705 residue and prevents dimerization of STAT3 monomers into a functional dimer.[1] The IC50s of FLLL32 for the UM-SCC-74B and UM-SCC-29 cell lines are 1.40 and 0.85 μM, respectively.[2] In vitro, FLLL32 downregulates the active form of STAT3 and pSTAT3 in HNSCC cells and induces a potent antitumor effect against UCh1 chordoma.[2]

Protocols

In vitro, FLLL32 is dissolved in DMSO.[2]
