Biological activities

GSK-2636771 is a PI3K p110β isoform specific inhibitor. [1] GSK-2636771 inhibits PTEN null cell lines (human prostate adenocarcinoma PC-3 and breast cancer HCC70) with EC50 of 36 and 72 nM, respectively. [2] In PI3Kα, the reciprocal mutation changes GSK2636771 from inactive to an IC50 of 1.6 µM, at least a 60-fold change. [3]
