Biological activities

GW5074 is a potent and specific inhibitor of c-Raf. GW5074 inhibits c-Raf with an IC50 of 9 nM. GW5074 inhibits cell death caused by neurotoxins in granule cells and other neuronal types. GW5074 inhibits low potassium (LK)-induced apoptosis in cerebellar granule neurons.^[1] GW5074 effectively blocks the phosphorylation of cardiac troponin I (cTnI).^[2] GW5074 prevents neurodegeneration and improves behavioral outcome in C57BL/6 male mice model of Huntington?? disease.^[1]
