Biological activities

NSI-189 is a nootropic and neurogenic research chemical derived from nicotinamide and pyrazine [1]. NSI-189 has been shown to stimulate neurogenesis of human hippocampus-derived neural stem cells in vitro and in vivo. The hippocampus is responsible for the consolidation of information from short-term memory to long-term memory, along with spatial navigation [2].
