Biological activities

PF-04418948 is a potent and selective EP2 receptor inhibitor with an IC50 of 16 nM.[1] PF-04418948 reverses the PGE2-induced relaxation in the mouse trachea with an IC50 of 2.7 nM. Meanwhile, PF-04418948 inhibits PGE2-induced increase in cAMP in cells expressing EP2 receptors with a KB of 1.8 nM. In vivo, PF-04418948 attenuates the butaprost-induced cutaneous blood flow response in rats.[2]
