Biological activities

PR-619 is a broad-range deubiquitylating enzyme (DUB) inhibitor. PR-619 inhibits sentrin/SUMO-specific protease (SENP) 2, ubiquitin-specific protease 7 (USP7), and dengue virus type 1 (DEN1) with IC50s of 23, 5.8 and 9.0 mM, respectively.[1] PR-619 inhibits the majority of DUBs labeled by HA-UbBr2 and HA-UbVME at a concentration of 20 mM, and to a lesser extent at 5 mM.[2] PR-619 attenuates KCa3.1 degradation, indicative of deubiquitylation being required for lysosomal delivery.[1]

In vitro, PR-619 is dissolved in DMSO.[1]
