Biological activities

Priftin is an antibiotic agent which is used in the treatment of tuberculosis. Priftin is stable for 14 days in 7H9 broth and for 3 weeks in 7H10 agar medium.^[1] Priftin inhibits ATCC 27107 and E.coli K12 strains with a MIC ranging from 32-64 mg/L.^[2] M. Priftin suppresses M. bovis BCG with a MIC ranging from 8閳?3 µg/L.^[3] Priftin inhibits the activites of Toxoplasma gondii in vitro and in vivo.^[4]

Protocols

In vivo: Priftin is dissolved in DMSO.^[4]
