Biological activities

EVP4593 is an NF-ΚB pathway inhibitor. EVP4593 blocks PMA/PHA-induced NF-ΚB activation with an IC50 of 11 nM.[1] EVP4593 significantly slows the progressive decline in the climbing speed of the huntington?? disease (HD) flies. EVP4593 inhibits store-operated calcium (Ca2+) entry (SOC) in experiments with SH-5Y5 cells. EVP4593 (30 and 300 nM) significantly protects YAC128 medium spiny neurons (MSN) from glutamate toxicity. EVP4593 inhibits transient receptor potential canonical 1 (TRPC1)-supported SOC Ca2+ currents in neuronal cells.[2]

Protocols

In vitro, EVP4593 is dissolved in DMSO.[2]
