Biological activities

Tretinoin is a derivative of vitamin A. Tretinoin is often used as a form of acne treatment.Tretinoin is also used to treat and reduce the appearance of stretch marks by increasing collagen production in the dermis.Tretinoin is also used to treat acute promyelocyticleukemia.[1]Tretinoin prevents the major steroid-induced biomechanical changes in hairless mouse dermal connective tissue that contribute to atrophy.[2]

Protocols

In vivo: Tretinoinis dissolved in an ethanol:propylene glycol vehicle.[2]
